Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

This site is designed for the sale of products to Craft Trade Resellers with a minimum order stated on the home page. In order to protect the interest of our resellers, we reserve the right to cancel any orders which do not meet the above criteria.

Shipping & Special Order Requirements We will charge from £8.00 for carrier to deliver in the mainland UK.

Please ensure that you specify a delivery address where there will be someone available to sign for the goods. The carrier will only deliver to the address specified as per your order. If no one is at the address they will leave a card for you to contact them. The carrier will attempt one more delivery before returning the goods to us. If goods are returned back to us, we will charge the cost of return delivery and (if goods are still required) re-delivery charge.

International shipping charges: The online catalogue can calculate the amount for you when you finalise your order, however if the actual charge is less we will amend your order to charge the lesser amount.

Delivery Schedule Depending on size of a trade order, most trade orders are processed and delivered within 2 to 5 days of receipt of order.

In all other cases we will endeavour to deliver as soon as all items are available as required.

Back Orders Sometimes items can be sold out before we can update the site, so if your item is out of stock, we will contact you.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

For EU VAT registered customers, there is an option during the checkout to enter in your VAT details.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are ENCRYPTED using 256 BIT ENCRYPTION. Encryption makes it very difficult for unauthorized people to view information travelling between computers. The information is encrypted before being transmitted over the internet. They are decrypted when the details reach us. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Remittance Terms We will not ship any goods until full payment has been received.

We accept credit & debit card payment for all UK & EU orders.

For all non-EU orders, we can only accept bank transfer - please select a "details sent separately" payment option on checkout, and email us with your order number for bank details.

We will charge in GBP Pounds Sterling (any currency values on the site are indicative prices only)

If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro and Solo.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

(1) If you choose "Credit Card details sent separately" we cannot assemble your order until we receive your card details. Please send details by phone or fax. DO NOT email your card details.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

Returns Policy The customer must inspect the products as soon as possible after direct delivery. If there is noticeable damage on a delivery where a signature is required, please sign the delivery "RECEIVED DAMAGED".

All discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods.

No goods can be returned to TRADE-WIRES.CO.UK without its express consent. In the event of faulty or damaged products being received by the customer, please contact us to advise of the problem whereupon arrangements to rectify will be made.

Material ordered in error, when returned, we will credit & refund 90% of the value of the material only, and (if order was paid by card) minus 3% card transaction charge; exceptions - items that are "made to order", and/or items with special labelling will incur a lesser refund value.
